Apple Pie Preparation:

The washed apples peel and rind. The grated apples are mixed with sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon. In the mixture of apples add chopped nuts or almonds. Each crust of sprinkled with edible oil is filtered with a mixture of apples. The crust is sprinkled in a greased oven pan. The apple pie is baked for about 25 minutes at 200 ° C until it receives a beautiful light brown color. The hot pie left to cool briefly after which it is poured with powdered sugar.

Ingredients: 

For the crumble: 

  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Flour. 

For the apple filling

  • Granny smith apple
  • Allspice
  • Brown sugar
  • Salt
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Star anise

For the caramel

  • Butter
  • Cream
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla bean

Method:

Crumble: keep your butter in the refrigerator until it is hard rock. After it is strong, you have to cut it into cubes and mix sugar and flour. Use to mix it and make sure that the texture of the crumble is grainy. 

Apple mixture: peel the apple (or don’t, depends on how you like it) and cut it into small cubes. Make sure it has a bite to it and the texture is crunchy. Now after this, add allspice in it depending on how much you want it. Add the cinnamon stick and star anise, add brown sugar one cup and a pinch of salt, then mix it thoroughly. 

Put the mixture in a heat resistant bowl. Cover the mixture using the crumble. Cook it for 30 minutes.

Caramel sauce: put a saucepan on the heat and add sugar in it. Do not stir. If you stir then it will crystalize so let it sit until it becomes amber brown. Don’t let it burn though. As soon as it is melted, add butter and cream, vanilla beans and mixed thoroughly until homogenous. Add salt. 

Pour the caramel sauce while serving. You can use ice cream too. Enjoy.
